Public asked why they think the plastic ban is important

Plastic is everywhere - in your home, your office, your school and your ocean. Plastics are the most common form of marine debris and once in the water, plastic never fully biodegrades. With the nationwide 2020 ban approaching the Ministry of Environment and Housing wants to spread the word about why the ban is important and how this initiative can positively impact you and your family!

Aside from the elimination of various products the ban will help implement a much-needed shift in perspective and an understanding that we must act now to preserve our natural environment, the health of our wildlife and the well-being of our citizens. The Ministry has been asking people what their thoughts are and why do they think the plastic ban is important.
